A shock wrench is a tool that functions more or less the same as a wrench and ring wrench, but a shock wrench has superior value because it is able to grip the entire surface of the bolt head or nut, thereby preventing the key from slipping, resulting in damage to the bolt and workpiece. Shock locks can be used to remove or tighten bolts that are far from the surface such as car wheel bolts. In addition, the shock lock can be used simultaneously with other tools. For example shock locks that are used in combination with keys such as ratchet, extension bars, T-sliding bar locks and torque wrenches. This combination of several tools makes it easier for the mechanic to open or tighten bolts.
